Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live a long time ago when people first settled a country? To be pioneers who traveled in covered wagons and lived in log cabins they built from trees they cut down with axes? If you’ll come along with me, I can take you on just that kind of journey—back to the time when pioneers were settling the United States.
These children didn’t have electricity or running water, so that meant they had no television—certainly no cell phones or video games to entertain them. There were no bicycles, motorcycles, or cars to go from place to place, no stores nearby. They grew their food or hunted for it. How would you like to live like that?
Come with me and you can learn all about a family who grew up in a time when the United States was a very young country.
