Abstract: Objective:To analyze the efficacy of myopia reduction of orthokeratology, and study the complications and their solutions.Methods:54 myopies were fitted orthokeratology. They kept for follow-up visits for 6 months. Regular and standardized examination procedure were set up for initial and follow-up visit.Results:105 eyes after fitted Orthokeratology have unaided visual acuity increased, with myopia reduced -2~-5D. The quickest reduction happened in the first 2 weeks. The major complications are epithelial staining (45%) and corneal reversible astigmatism (18%) .Subjective refraction is the reliable refraction methord during the procedure. Conclusion:Orthokeratology can reduce some amount of myopia. The standardized examination and fitting procedure can ensure its safety and efficancy. The topography provide data for monitoring the lens refitting and solving the problem.
